Tanaka Browning parts
I have a tanaka browning that has a broken slide. Long story short, it was dropped at a theme game and now the slide is basically shot. Does anyone on these forums know of a tanaka parts distributor or is able to get a hold of tanaka themselves?

Tanaka will only deal with their own retailer chain when it comes to getting parts. So you would have to contact a place like UnCompany, etc. that purchases directly from Tanaka Works.
I haven't seen just slides available in the aftermarket, but what model Browning do you have? Military, two-tone, etc? Some times it ends up being the same or cheaper to get an entire used gun for parts. And if you have a lot of extra cash on hand, Zeke and Prime make nice metal kits for the Tanaka! |

Thanks for the response.
Yeah I've looked at the zeke and prime kits for a while but I'm unaware of any place that still carries them. I would definitely get one if it was available. I have the standard, non ladder sight Belgian version in all black so its fairly expensive to purchase a new one. I replaced it with one that has ladder sights but it just isn't my thing. I wonder if uncompany could bring in a custom tanaka parts order? |

Keep your fingers crossed for WE to release a version other than the Nationalist Chinese one with shoulder stock and tangent sight.

Yeah I'm definitely hoping they do what they did with their 1911 line and make a ton of variations. Nothing will beat the classic HP 1935 in my opinion. I wonder though, WE usually bases their designs off of other companies designs so maybe their browning will be tanaka compatible.
