Airsoft "Pet Peeves", time to vent guys!

My pet peeve has to be how supportive my dad is about me joining the great sport of Airsoft. (Yes I'm 18, just waiting on my BC ID then I get to be verified)
Considering I just graduated High School, my jobs junk with racist bosses who don't want to give me any shifts, is it that bad to ask my dad who has never given me anything for a little extra money? I didn't think so.
Instead he tells me if I like Airsoft so much, I should just go and join the army, then I could play with the real deal, followed by him hanging up on me...

Besides that, 16 year old kids showing up to the field, and having their parents buy them $700-800 Airsoft rifles. Only thing that comes to mind is "FFFFFFUUUUU"

It's not the whole 16 year old with a rifle thing I care about,
It's the 16 year old with a $700-800 rifle like a SCAR or something like that

I just can't understand why people would place items on the classified and then refuse to answer any question about it; or even refuse to reply to an offer to buy the said items.

Be careful and make sure the PM was received. It happens to me from time to time to not receive PMs, and seeing it sent from my friend's account when I went to his place.

Airsoft is an expensive hobby and sometimes people (like myself) who cannot allocate the funds readily to enjoy it must accept that they will have to get creative.

Enjoy any time on the field you can get and don't worry about what the other guy has.

16 year old kids that show up with better kit then the guys in the US Military!! I was 16 once too, but damm, even with my full time job i couldnt afford brand name kit! Ive known a few underagers that have their parents buy them whatever they wanted and paid for them to play to get rid of em for a few hours.....

This frkng hobby is very expensive and you cannot splurge at will. Kind of like when you are at the mall and have $40 and you love that beautiful coat or jacket that costs $400. However, eventually you get what you want though.
