I can tell you from honest experiance that that 25+ BPS is too fast. I currently have a TM MP5 SD5 that shoots 27 bps. It has a Systema turbo gearbox and Systema turbo motor. I empty mid-caps is 3 seconds, I am always changing mags and its a pain in the ass. I honestly suggest going no higher than 20bps max, anything else is not needed. Plus I have to be very careful in CQB not to overshoot. Tends to piss off your friends when they get blasted with a 12 bb burst just by you touching the trigger.

Some more information would be nice if you want a recommended setup. 25bps @ 280FPS is not going to be the same internal recommendations as a 425 FPS @ 25bps.

Transition to semi. Your trigger response should be outstanding and a double tap would be more than fast enough. Unless of course you're walking your bb's to your target...

IMHO, full auto does not belong in cqb for the exact reason you described. Your opponent doesn't need to be hailed on with bb's to know they are hit. If you can't burst fire to prevent overshooting, the you don't belong neither! Burst fire is typically 3-5 rounds, not 12+.

Just my opinion though...

Install a Trigger Master in your MP5 and set it for two round burst, is very sweet in itself, but if you have it set at 25bps, your double tap will send two rounds out so fast it'd be awesome! And you won't have to deal with reloading so much. Also, people won't get pissed at you close range.

I agree with this 100%, I was looking at getting a slower motor for it.
