Modify V2 cylinder head

So I bought a Modify V2 cylinder head...but for some reason it's impossible to slide the tappet plate with the nozzle on... when I push it back it stays back.. now no matter how hard I lube it with cylinder grease.. it just won't go forward.. unless I force it forward..

Any suggestions? Should I use gear grease?

O-ring inside the nozzle may be to large and gripping the cylinder head's nozzle too much.

Is it possible to remove the o-ring out of the nozzle and replace it with a smaller one? or I should just buy a modify nozzle...

Should be possible. now finding one the perfect size will probably be more time/work then just buying a modify nozzle unless you happen to have a set of various sized O-rings.

Are you using a Modify nozzle? My stock nozzle wouldn't slide well on my Modify Cylinder.

EDIT : Just read your 2nd post. Use a Modify nozzle :P

Airseal is good

are you sure it's not the tappet plate? It could be that the tappet plate is to wide in the mechbox and needs sanded down. Had this problem before.

Well.. I don't think it's the tappet plate... I tried it with my stock cylinder head and it works perfectly fine.

Then just try using a Modify one. I have tried using a different brand nozzle on a Modify cylinder head and didn't have any trouble. Just install piece by piece and closing up the MB after each install to narrow it down to find the problem.
P.S. does the nozzle fit and slide over the cylinder head easily?

The nozzle fits but its freaking hard to slide over... I have to force it into it. I'll grab a modify m4 nozzle when I do a small order of parts... gonna get my ass raped if I order just one part :\

If it's hard to slide on then that nozzle is tapered inside. Try a different nozzle if you have but get a Modify one for sure.

Order from Airsoft Parts, and ask it to be shipped via lettermail instead, of course it will not be insured, but you will save the 10$ flat rate shipping.
