CA is usually 7mm

but CA already has metal bushings, and it won't make ANY noticeable difference changing it.

...unless you are making a high speed set up. Then you should replace the bushings with bearings.

Come to think of it, if you are opening it anyway AND are keeping the spring at stock power, then I would recommend swapping in some bearings just for efficiency.

And if you are using CA bearings, FYI, they are crap. Much better off to replace them with Prommy or Kanzen.

Why don't you just measure it? It's either gonna be 6mm, 7mm or 8mm. I think only the old JG use a different 6mm. Like the other post ^, Bearings for high speed, solid bushing for high power.

I did measure it, the diameter of the tapered part is 7mm. Any link to the prommy bearings / bushings?

I believe if you're gonna have under 400 fps, jus use the Modify solid bushing from Airsoftcanada. I'm going well over 400 in my CA M4A1 and I'm using Modify 8mm Ceramic Bearing Bushings and I've had no probs. Take a look into that.
