Any Stanag Mag experts?
Ok, here goes, I had a feeding issue with my G&P metal body and King Arms hop-up, the Mid-mags I had did not work with the new setup, even with black tape in the magwell and on the mags. I'm sure they will work if I put so much on that the mags don't move at all but it makes it difficult to remove.
the Mags I tried are: Star P-mag clones King arms none of these fed properly. HOWEVER, I tried these high cap mags that came with a TM M4A1 purchase, I was told were Tokyo Marui as well and they feed perfectly, no feeding issues whatsoever. My Question is: How can you tell these are Tokyo Marui in case I want to buy more? There is writing on the bottom plate of the mag, I expected it to say Tokyo Marui but it actually says (ADVENTURE LINE MFG CO INC. PARSONS KS USA) Is this TM or something else? Help? yup thats TM.
All the mags that you've tried more or less have been reported with longer feed lip retainer, you can cut it down by two millimetre or so, it should feed fine after. |

Thanks Skladfin
How should I cut it, from the front of the lip retainer towards the back or in an angle towards the back? That seems like a lot of plastic to take off. And will this ruin my mags for any other gun or hopup? |
