ares/star bucking
Ok here is the story. Im looking to buy some replacement buckings for my star scar h. Now here is where it gets fun. When I say bucking I mean the little rubber nub that presses on the hop up sleve. 99% of these are round or cylenderical if you will. Im looking for a bucking that is better described as a figure 8.
On the scar the barrel is interchangeable which will remove the outer and inner barrel along with the hop up rubber sleve. The actual bucking stays with the hop up adjuster assembly. When I change barrels the bucking will "drag" along the sleeve which has a chance of tearing my figure 8 bucking. thus I am looking for back ups and replacements. The only luck I have had is buying a full hop up assembly from wgc for an ares m4. And at 20.00$ us plus shipping is pretty expensive for a kit that gives me one part i need. There must be someone that has some experience with this odd set up. any advise at all is helpfull. This is the best pic I could find showing the figure 8 bucking. It actualy locks into the adjuster arm of the hop up. |

almost looks as if you could replace the arm with a normal one... and just a normal packing..

You're in luck, I've got one in my personal collection. It's in fair condition. You can have it for free, PM me with your details.

I would say 10ga silicon wire sleeve clipped in there would work...
I will see if I still have some around... |
