As long as the plate carrier is empty its fine
But they're not going to open up a suppressor to see if it's real or not, and there's nothing to stop someone from ordering real baffles separately and putting them in after |

Alright thanks for the clarification. In regards to the suppressor restrictions, it's a good thing the average person doesn't have access to the means to make steel cylinders. Wait...

Edited Quote from link: Category X--Protective Personnel Equipment and Shelters (1) Body armor; (f) The following interpretations explain and amplify the terms used in this category and throughout this subchapter: (1) The body armor covered by this category does not include Type 1, Type 2, Type 2a, or Type 3a as defined by the National Institute of Justice Classification; Body armor is not export restricted... just most of the 'strong' stuff. ITAR also restricts plasma cannons above 128 joules of energy (Look it up, 22CFR121.1.II.L.1.I) |

You have experience with this? I want to order some SAPI plates from this ebay seller based out of Israel. Has anybody else gotten armor in from Israel okay?

Also, does someone have a link to the law restricting possession of armor in BC?

Really, are you sure about that? Any references you can cite? It was my impression that uniform and gear retailers only did it voluntarily, not out of compliance to any export law restricting the export of UCP.

Is kevlar restricted? I was looking at a German Flecktarn Flak Vest that has kevlar inserts. I don't want it for ballistic protection at all really and I'm not keen on playing with fragmentation anything unless I have heavy lexan plate to protect me. I just really like the look and the style and it fits with the German - Modern style setup I wanna do. Also as it seems it will only cost me like $100-120 I'm thinking of ordering a second one later and fitting custom positioned molle straps.
I could take out the kevlar or maybe even order it without the kevlar but I kinda want the extra weight and "padding" effect since I'm prone to ramming into stuff and it would be nice when trying to body check doors or other stuff out of the way. |

If you're talking about a Mehler vest or anything currently in use in Bundeswher there's no problem, their gear is one of the most easy to get.
