Boot Questions

So im looking for a new pair of boots, i really like the classic 9 tan boots on this link but at a few stores they offer a wide/reg fit. I was wondering if you guys could give me some info on these boots or similar ones. I have fairly wide feet i guess but ordering things like this online may be a crap shoot. Thanks!!!

The second pair you linked, the Blackhawk ones, are amazing. My brother has a pair, and they are the sweetest boots I have ever seen or worn. They are incredibly light, and breathe very nicely!

Would definitely recommend them.
However, I've also only heard good things about Original Swat boots, so, you are choosing between two excellent boots their. I am sure neither of them will do you wrong.

Dunno about those specifically, but they look similar to the issue Bates USMC Goretex boots, which I only have good things to say about. I wear a relatively wide size myself (CF boot size 9½ E/F), I get size 10 Wide for US boots and they fit like a glove... if I wore gloves on my feet... anyway.

I have a pair of issued M-8s too (look-wise closer to the 1st pair you posted), but prefer the Goretex

I've been wearing SWATs for work(Army) for 2 years now, an they are awesome boots.

I also have wide feet, but the regular sized SWATs fit me.

+1 for SWATs, a couple guys at 4ESR have been using the Classic 8's since last January and haven't had any foot problems, at my unit though, me and a couple others wear Magnum Force 8.0's since last December and the only problem we've had is the little web loop for the laces came out on a pair of mine...
