Vest color?

Soon I would like to buy a vest but I don't know what color to choose. I have CADPAT BDU and soon I will buy Arid CADPAT too.

So which color I should buy that will fit on those two BDU because I don't want to buy 2 vests and all the accesories.

So tell me what you think about that and if your have some picture of you wearing CADPAT with coyote brown or an other color show it please.

Thank You!

try something like coyote brown or ranger green, even OD wouldn't be that bad

edit/ watch this video

You can see some soldiers wearing CB vests

CB seems to be the colour to buy if you want it to work with just about everything.

Although it might not be authentic to real world use. You can throw it over just about anything, and it will work well.

Has anyone seen any pictures of cadpat with ranger green vest? I've got an OD one at the moment, and I think it looks a little...off. I'm looking to change to a Ciras, and searches havent turned up anything thus far.

IIRC I read somewhere on here that the CF is looking into switching to a CB molle vest instead of the old tac vest, so it's not too far-fetched unless you're going for a current unit look.

I believe the new TT an SORD vest that are being trialed are in Coyote Brown. I know that some of the vests we had in the last trial we had were Coyote Brown.

Also, lots of guys buy their own rigs, backpacks, etc an coyote brown is a popular colour.

I'd go with either OD or CB.
Preferably OD, since most games will be held in wooded erea and CB is not used yet by the CF. So if you want to make a realist CF impression, OD is best.

OD is also versatile anough that it will fit with everything, unlike CB that will look odd on some paterns and colors.

Most guys who buy their gear plan on using it for Afghanistan so you will see lots of guys back here training with AR CADPAT and Coyote Brown chest rigs, webbing and backpacks.

some examples

That's what came out in the last tender.

Actually it specified their attachment system (used by TAD and Oakley) but allowed for subtitutions, but only if they used the same attachment system?!?!?.

Like Mike said, stick with CB kit. I know of a few guys that are wishing they had bought CB rigs for overseas so they could still use them over here.
