M16's CA/JG or G&G Questions?

I'm looking at getting a new AEG and really have my heart set on an M16. I have had a few offers that range from 300-500$. Anyone able to give me some pros and cons on the 3 different brands. And maybe what i should look out for.

Just for the record the models are the m16a2 and a3

The 3rd is obviously the best gun but i would like a bit of background from people that have used or owned these guns.

1: JG M16a3 is just stock mostly plastic and no upgrades.

2:G&G Stock GR16

3: CA M16A2 Package

The Package Includes:

- CA Full Metal M16A2 AEG
- Std. CA Full Stock
- DBoys Crane Stock (Full Metal Tube, Drilled For Wiring)
- EA Folding Foregrip w/ LED Light
- EA Carry Handle Mounted Illuminated Scope
- EA Sling Mount
- M4/M16 RIS Foregrip Rail Set (2 Rails, Hardware, BiPod Mounts)
- CA Hi-Cap Magazine
- 3000mah NiMH Large Battery (Tamiya)
- 1500mah NiCD Large Battery (Tamiya)
- New Custom 4700mah NiMH Battery For Crane Stock (Deans)
- Tamiya Wiring

Upgrades:
-fuses replaced
-gearbox shimmed/greased
-new bushings
-new inner barrel
-hop-up
-cylinder
-piston
-piston-head

Any other advice or comments on m16's or similar weapons would be great. Cheers!!!

First of all do you have a budget? I assume you're willing to pay $500+ because you listed the CA?

300-500 Would be an acceptable ammount to spend. I was really wanting info on durability, out of the box quallity, personal preference, feel/comfortability...that kinda thing. The CA package had tons of stuff i would not need i just cut and pasted it for reference. I also am not sure what i would like to have done once i get it. I really am looking for something with longer range then my MP5.

if you are lucky you can get a CA for under 500.
I got mine upgraded for reliability for 400 about a year and a half ago maybe.
Just go CA, hell, if you come across a good deal and it is expensive, just pay up.
You won't regret it.

That's a good point. Something might be out of your immediate budget but if you consider long term plans etc. into the equation, it might actually be cheaper to just buy it up front.

On another note, why are we even comparing? CA should trump both of those. Have had 2 Classic Army's, a CQBR and an SPR (Basically an M16A4) and both were reliable as hell and lasted thousands of rounds (Sometimes thousands in a half day). Only reason I sold them was a WETTI.

Yes, you can't really compare a plastic-receivered gun (JG) to a full metal CA.

Sure the JG is good, I've handled and used them, but if you want to spend $500+ why not get the CA?

I think, I got more than lucky enough since I got a deal on CA M15A2 for less than 300 $ with 7 mags, battery, etc... It's just one time deal, don't ask me for another one, the worst parts is I don't want another M4, so give the deal to my buddy.

I should say, due to various problems with previous gen CAs, preferably stick to M15A4s

I never buy guns that are worked on by others... or buy only ones worked on by people with good creditability.

receiving broken guns regularly makes you alert about these things...lol

yup.... true true.
But buying broken guns with good parts in them is worth it as long as they are at a broken price =D
