Likely it only works with the HK designed sling for the MP5 (and I saw a couple other guns they had with the same thing). Might get lucky and get it to work with whatever sling you have.

BTW, so far making a cheap bungee sling thing for my shotgun works great, wear it like a three point (top part of the loop over your shooting side shoulder) and let it hang on the support side, is right there when you need it, goes back when you don't, and your sidearm is free too.

personally i just use the clip to open beer bottles its a great conversation piece.

Wasn't aware it was that strong? I can flex my TM ones with my thumbnail.

Side note, I use the butt mount of my SD (the metal cap that fits on the body) as a way to put out my smokes before I fieldstrip the butts and toss in my dump pouch.
