Sorbo Pad?

I recently bought a VSR-10 from shootsoft.
I know its crap soft. I just wanted to see what i could do with it (YAY disposable income!)

I sanded it down, repainted it, etc. But know I really like it.
Anyways...
I've been looking into some internals that i could buy for it and I came across Sorbo pads?
1) what are they?
2) what other internals can I buy for my VSR-10, cause I heard that some parts that are "VSR" compatible, aren't...

Appreciate any feed back

If you type VSR10 into the search field at the top...you get back LOTS of info...

These are two very helpful ones...might have to reread them after you've found out more of what's what...but they're good.

Unlikely that either of them mention sorbo pads...you can use the search for that as well.
- sorbothane is a squishy rubber that spreads the impact shock from the piston over a longer period of time...preserving the lifespan of the pieces that take the shock.

goto any major retailer:
redwolfairsoft
uncompany
airsoftgi

etc.
search VSR and you will find all kinds of VSR parts available. PDI and Laylax parts will be the most common for VSR.
once you know which parts you want.. ask here again.

Also you can goto google and search VSR upgrade guide.
Various guides out there for upgrade parts.

Thanks everyone for the response

I was looking at some internals online and one part i had a question about was:
PSS10 Stainless Taper Cylinder Head VSR-10

what exactly is that used for? I'll probably end up getting it anyways. (once again: yay disposable income!)

Ahhh Tex never a dull moment lol. I was just talking about him (Kevin Sorbo, for the new guy) with a friend of mine about his old shows. Not a bad actor.

Quick edit. Kingly, Id go read the upgrade stickies there a great help. There are 2 of them I think one on smart/non smart upgrades and the other on what should be the why you should upgrade that part. I know it took me a little while to understand it all before I went and put together my G-spec.

Personally I dont use a Sorbo on mine. PDI 330 spring in it and Ive had guys tell me they cant hear that gun past 10 feet.

As far as what I did for mine here it is.

- PDI 6.01mm inner barrel (G-spec) **
- PDI ZERO-Trigger **
- PDI VSR-10 Precision Cylinder Set VC **
- PDI Cylinder Head short Stroke **
- PDI 330 Spring (486 fps with the inner barrel 6.01) **
- PDI Barrel spacer (G-Spec) **
- Bushnell Scope
- Spring ejected Bipods
