Safe to assume you learned a half dozen things from this thread?

Regarding the dry fire shots early on, one experience I had was just after I got my new KJW M700. Was around 34C outside, I was in my basement chronying, filled the mag with propane and 0.20g, first I got 710fps, then 690fps, then 610fps and all shots after settled to between 550 and 560fps. Almost repeated it with using duster, except all velocities were 100fps lower. So after that I made a point of dry firing the gun 3-4 times after a gas fill, then load the BBs.

WOW!... It shot that high even with propane... I always thought different types of gas give a spcific range of FPS.... Guess I'm wrong...

You cannot get a refillable 12g CO2 container. They are single use only. You are thinking of larger tanks, but these are of course massively bigger. Even a 4oz tank is bigger than an apple.

Is because of the gas system in it, it's adjustable and that's just how it was set out of the box. You can get propane to go as low as 300fps though in that gun.

C02 is almost always hot with pistols.

I've seen Canadian Tire/Wal-Mart clearsoft pistols that shoot close to 400 FPS on C02 cartridges, even with cool-down.

Use green gas/propane indoors or even duster.

Or find a clearsoft with a threaded barrel and use a reducer (lol)
