ICS M4A1 vs Velocity Arms V4 S-System
I'm currently debating on purchasing a ICS M4A1 or a Velocity Arms V4 S-System (http://velocityarms.ca/index.php?mai...roducts_id=330)
Just looking for advice/experience before I make my purchase. Thanks

I think it would be better if you get age verified first. Till then i don't think you will get as much help.

For better support, we encourage strongly to get age verified.
I find that the ICS m4a1 is over priced for what it offers. The Velocity arms V4-S is definately the way to go. |

Get age verified, I promise you, you will reconsider buying either of those.

My brother owns a fully upgraded M4 S from velocityarms and the thing is solid. If you plan to use this all year round (indoor/outdoor) the ICS will be able to swap springs 100 times easier though. Research until av'd then purchase, no use having regrets.

You can get a full metal ICS M4 in the classifieds for less than a new plastic one. I'd go that route instead, but it requires you to be 18+ and age verified. There's a used ICS M4 CQB in there right now that includes a complete extra M16 front end and upper receiver, as well as an extra 400 fps upper mechbox all for under $400. That gives you a sub-350 CQB gun that you can convert to a full length M16 shooting 400 fps for outdoors. You basically get 2 full metal guns for the less than the price of a clear plastic one.
And no, it's not mine and I won't reveal who's selling it outside of AV areas, so in case anyone gets any ideas, don't bother sending me PMs to ask. That being said, both the guns mentioned are good choices. I like JG guns, but the versatility of the split mechbox makes ICS the clear winner for me and worth the extra money.

How do I go about getting Age Verified for my area? I live in Georgetown Ontario (just outside of the Peel area)

Not really. There are a couple minors here that have built a reputation and are patiently awaiting the opportunity to get AV'ed without acting like childish goons. Also, could have been AV'ed and just awaiting the update to the account. Or someone from out of country and are here as part of the online community for the topics of discussion and whatnot. Plenty of reasons why someone who is not AV'ed tells someone to get AV'ed.
