That sucks. At least Burger King, etc. still has Anus burgers on the menu, so you can use the anus burger order for fun and see who gets it. I had the staff and customers laughing when I ordered that with a straight face.

It's like me, I maybe joined in 2005 but I'm still a newbie and just started to post and become active here.
I give out help when I can and generally someone else has answered their question by the time I get there. I also try not to participate in flame wars. otherwise I keep to myself most of the time which is why I have a fairly low post count.
also I did not mean posting a link to the FAQ but posting a link to a thread in the FAQ.

this thread seems to have run its course since we have gotten to talking about ordering anus burgers with extra pickle and sauce.

This is a bit of a waste of a post, but that's pretty much the best typo ever.

Look up...

That was being purposefully written for the entire thread.

I'll post a link to the FAQ if it's one of the stickies at the top. If it's burried a little deeper, I might dig it up and link.

My argument with posting a link to the stickied section instead of the thread itself is simply: why should we help anyone who isn't willing to help themselves?

The newb tank was meant as an area where new players can post questions without fear of flame or ridicule. It was never meant to be a spoonfeedfest for those too lazy to read anything.

"1 - No "Read the FAQ" posts

This section is for new players to ask...wait for it....NOOB QUESTIONS. That means that this section is FAIR GROUND for items that are typically trashed and burned in other sections of the boards."

Why not instead of just saying

"Read the FAQ" just completely link to the thread instead

Why not instead of just asking

"Hi can you please tell me the answer to a question that has been answered a million times and is all over the FAQ section and the Newb Tank?"

Just READ THE FAQ SECTION AND NEWB TANK before asking your questions?

There's a difference between newb questions and "I'm too fucking lazy to do any reading" questions. Usually which one it is becomes very obvious after the OP posts again in the thread.
