AEG shooting to the right, big time!

Ok, I am desperately in need for some advice here;

Got an upgraded (390 FPS) TM-M16 with a G&P one-piece Hop-Up and a Madbull Black Python II inner barrel. BB used were Excel 0.2g and Excel 0.25g.

Now the rifle is shooting about 3 to 4 inches to the right of the point of aim at 15 feet! This, of course, gets amplified with longer ranges (I estimate the deviation to about 5 to 6 feet to the right of the point of aim at 100 feet.

I first tought the Hop-Up system could have been problematic, but I will rule this possibility out because I've tested the accuracy with the Hop-Up set to zero, and it's still as bad.

Now I'm really clueless, any recommendations?

Thanks

Make sure the barrel itself isn't physically bent. Roll it across a perfectly flat surface, it should roll with no "wobble" or anything.

Also take a look to see if there is any gap between the outer diameter of your inner barrel and the inner diameter of your outer barrel.

If there is, that could be the cause of your accuracy problem. It can be fixed by wrapping the end (about 1" from the end) of your inner barrel with electrical tape so that the inner barrel fits snug into the outer.

Although unlikely, it's possible your hop rubber is torn and causing a deviation to one side.

i had a similar problem, check that your inner barrel is installed correctly, EG. not upside down, 90 degrees to the right/left...

same thing happened to me because i swapped inner barrels without paying enough attention.

you also want to check your hop up rubber.

Well,I finally managed to get something good out of this AEG, and actually most of you were right, this was a combination of a few problems that were listed here :

First of all, the inner barrel was warped, I slipped it on a quarter-inch brass rod to straighten it, plus I slightly shimmed it to have a snug fit into the outer barrel, with tape (6 shims, at equal intervals)

Second : The hop-unit was partially declipped from the inner barrel, causing the hop-up to be misaligned. This has been re-installed properly now.

Many thanks for all your help.
