M3 shotgun weaver rails
I'm a glutton for punishment... I bought a TM m3 super 90 for my primary weapon (and a AEP G18C for a secondary)
now I don't want to Tacticool the pretty shooty up... I just want a small rail on the barrel for a reflex sight... and another rail on the pump for a Foregrip I've seen aftermarket stuff for the M500 gas shotguns.. but nothing like this for the M3's .. can anyone offer any help or am I "custom attaching" said peices?

Since the gun is almost totally plastic, good luck to you.

It can be done. You just need to find the rail you want and attach it to the receiver. The big problem is in how to attach it. You can't really use screws as anything long enough is almost positively going to get threaded into the tri-piston & cylinder and cause major problems when you try and cycle the gun. That will leave you with using some type of glue that will remain flexible. Silicon is almost perfect but it's a little too flexible.

You could attach it using a black epoxy resin. It would hold you could just have to ensure it stays under compression when its curing. Its metal to plastic so its not going to be 100% infalliuble.
An automotive parts store might have the adhesive they use to attach CB or industrial GPS antenneas. In aviation its called PRC and its made by 3M. Couldn't tell you what its called for cars, but I'd imagine 3M would be behind it aswell. Regular old Lapage 5 Minute Epoky (Canadian Tire $7) probably would work too, you just might have to do a paint touch up to cover the finish color its it leaks.

yeah I've got a whole host of adhesives to try... from epoxy to JB to autobody liquid weld .... permenatly attaching the rails doesn't "bother" me I just wanted to see if anyone knew of any rail systems or not so permanent solution.

I suppose you could drill into the body (after removing critical internals) and use flush pop-rivets but that's risky.
