JP Rifle 16" Barrel DMR Gun

This is the same M4 I was using before, just with about half of the stuff changed up. I still have all my old equipment, so I can switch out the front ends, cylinders, springs etc and do a M4 CQB when I feel like it.

I had originally wanted to do a straight up true-to-life SPR build, but after seeing the MADBULL JP Rifle 12" Handgaurd kit with 4 different barrel lengths, I really liked that look and decided to go with that.

Essentially the way this kit works is you have a main barrel section, that's about 13 inches long. This end sticks into the gas block and is secured with a cross pin. Than you pick how long your barrel is, and screw the second end of the barrel into the other side of the gas block.

Usually I'm very wary of two piece armalite barrels, as I like my barrels to be sturdy, with no wobble. However, Madbull included an thick, rubber O-ring that goes in-between the two; so when you properly tighten up the forward section of barrel (and secured it with an allen key) the two pieces are putting sufficient pressure on each other that there's no wobble what so ever.

Here's a full list of parts:

Internals
Pro-Win Split Mechbox (7mm version)
Prometheus double torque up gears
Prometheus AR Latch
Modify 7mm solid bushings
King Arms trigger switch assembly and tappet plate w/silver wire
TM EG1000 motor
Prometheus Hard Piston (require a fair amount of modification to fit, but works very well)
Modify bearing spring guide
Modify Cylinder (no porting)
Modify SP110 spring (will be trying other springs to find a good balance)
MASK Cylinder head
MASK piston head
Modify air seal nozzle
Prometheus SOFT hop-up bucking (also have a gaurder clear and a madbull blue I'm going to compare and test to find the best one for my selected FPS and BB)
Prometheus 6.03 SS inner barrel, 455 mm

Externals (From back to front)
G&P Crane stock kit w/9.6 battery (deans)
Magpul PTS ASAP sling plate w/ pantac one point
G&P SF metal body (fairly beat up, replacing with a G&P Troy body with VLTOR upper in near future)
Magpul MIAD grip and trigger gaurd
King Arms metal body accessories KIT
King Arms M3 illuminated 3.5-10X scope with butler creek flip covers
Madbull JP rifle 12" free float handgaurd with 16" barrel
Rockmount short bi-pod
Madbull Gemtech silencer

Now for the gun pron.

As you can see, I got lazy and didn't completely remove the paintjob I had on all the old components.

As you can see, this body has gotten pretty beat up. Replacement is en-route.

Once I game it a couple times, if I can get the free time and motivation, I'll do up a review of as much of the components as I can.

EDIT: Woops, forgot to take off the front magpul sight. rear one won't fit with the scope there.

I have a silencer that you can borrow that will make that gun even more crazy long.
