Nine ball SAS/Strike 5.1 Kit
Hello, I am flabbergasted as to how the Nine ball SAS/Strike 5.1 Kit, is attached to the 5.1, from this photo, looks like it just screws into the rail at 2 places. So just to clarify, do all 5.1 models have this threading so it can be attached, because my WE 5.1 doesn't. Thanks.

Remove the slide from your hicapa, and put it aside. Looking at the frame, look down the channel that the slide travels, just in front of the trigger guard you will see two small impressions and one screw. Carefully drill out those impressions, and the screws that hold the kit to the frame with go down those holes from the inside, "pulling" the kit tight to the frame.
If that didn't solve it, PM me and I can walk ya through it.

It is meant ONLY for Tokyo Marui 5.1.
It will not fit on to any 4.3 model or any WE gun. If you own a Tokyo Marui 5.1, the manual will have instruction on how to install the included lower rail with the gun, and a tool is included so that you can punch out the holes required. |

Hi, sorry I know this thread is a bit dated, but I decided it was better than starting a whole new thread.
Is there any way at all that you could modify this kit to fit a 4.3 tac? I was thinking of just getting a 5.1 length outer barrel and recoil spring guide, would that work? Or do you have to have the same frame without the built-in rail? Thanks

The way it's setup, the bottom rail bolts to a 5.1 frame. That piece has a "saddle" that cups the bottom of the 5.1 slide that extends past the frame. Then there is a block that bolts onto the front end of the rail and the slide butts up against it. Just like an "L" that's laid sideways.
So...no. The "saddle" wouldn't side right anywhere on the 4.3. Even if you ground/cut it off, there wouldn't be a good way to attach it to the underside of the 4.3 frame. You could make a "meat tenderizer" block...and just bolt it to the front of your 4.3 frame. You'd need to drill and tap two little holes to attach it. Getting it all lined up right would be pretty fiddly. There might be something for a 4.3 kit...but I've never looked into it, sorry. Tys |

thanks for the reply.
(sigh) I guess that complicates my decision between a 5.1 and a 4.3.

There is a version that you have to use in conjunction with a 4.3 slide tho.
http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=3598 still needs hicapa 5 as a base model.

You can do this to fit a 4.3, but you will need:
- Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 frame (MUST be Tokyo Marui. Clones will not work) - Mill/saw/Dremel tool or some other tool to chop down the front of the base that the spiked front mounts to - A drill(press) to drill new holes to allow the spiked front to mate to the mount. I've seen it done before... it looks impressive |
