That's what I'm thinking for my Crane, right now it's off and I'm using a Hurricane.

There's a trigger master going in the buffer tube, so I could run the LiPo in one of the side chambers and have my spare AAs and Ns on the other side.

Funny how whenever I get one question answered a whole bunch more seem to pop up. Firstly what is a buffer tube, how much of a pain is it to fit a batt into the crane stock and would those tiny 7.2v's be able to power upgraded inner components?

Buffer tube is the long tube in the center of the picture with threads and a collar on the end. On the real deal it has a spring to cycle the bolt carrier. On a AEG it's usually filled with wires or battery.

Getting the battery/wires all in and hooked up can be touchy.
