Russian Comms

Hey, trying to piece together a list of what to buy in the near future for my russian loadout.

So far For gear, Gorka R and an AK Smersh. What would be an acceptable headset to be worn with a russian kit? Or at least would blend in, look the part?

Bowman + PTT? Comtacs?

From what ive seen, russian troops dont usually wear headset(could be wrong)..But thats not really an option for Milsim, or even teamwork in general.

Any help would be appreciated!

I never saw a russian soldier with a headset even on modern photos like Georgia or Chechnya.
personaly, I use a frogman and a PTT on every loadout including my 2 russian loadout.
I just can't go without it.

That's why i posted lol! I searched for quite a while, but only saw pictures of say... a sniper at the range, using ear protection. No headsets to be seen.

I've since been told, Frogman style are closest to russian headset style?

Or do most russian enthusiasts just go for what they like?

Never saw any used either, except integrated comms in some special unit's helmet (OMON IIRC).

Considering there's none available in the airsoft market, I'd say either TASC-1 (frogman) or Bowman. These are the two that would look the least out of place. DO NOT use a Comtac, Sordin or similar.
