Russian border patrol

Here I am. While flora is pretty common, the only two russian units that used camo berets at some point(as far as I know) were border patrol in mid 90s and some platoon that dealt with woodland-mountain operations.

Gorka Flora "hoodie" + beret, M23 chest rig, DBoys AKS74U with black grips. Also there's an empty holster, but you can barely see it anyway.

All I need now is a couple of shoulder patches and I think I am done.

Why did you buy woodland camo M23?

OD or tiger would be much better IMO. BTW you look more like infantry now.

some info-inspiration

I don't think they make M23 in tiger so it was either woodland or OD. I figured woodland provides better camo and generally looks better. Thanks for the link, though.

I'd get a sposn partizan gorka with a sposn smersh if you are hardcore (which I just bought from Dmitry at SovietPropoganda).

I agree with Akinen, you look too much like infantry.

And put some damn wood on that aks74u, you are making all AK lovers cry.

My bad... I was referring to Kamysh M21 vest

I don't agree about better woodland choice. Flora is similar to tiger patterns, like horizontal, and woodland is sticking out because it breaks that Flora lines if you ask me. OD is God send.

Try to get your gun to have that used look... scratch it a bit or something

Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?

I ain't crying, speak for yourself. Those polymer grips are nice, albeit I'd prefer plum over black. Nothing wrong with them, just like there's nothing wrong with the stock and grips on the AK-74M, AK-100 series, RPK-M series, and so forth. Now if it was a RIS unit...

IMO, a rubber buttpad on the stock would finish the "modernized AKSU" quite nicely. So would a Kobra.

Lanceran, I like the loadout quite a bit. Doesn't have to be 100% accurate to be functional and look great.

Cheers,
Alex

Absolutely Akinnen,

A good choice Lanceran, with all the Western load-outs about its always good to see some Eastern impressions, ignore the anal retentives!

The Gorka E bdu is pretty wicked, i have one in partizan. Pockets all over the place.

It does get pretty hot if you're wearing it during the summer, i only ever wore it when it was a wee bit cold.

Soviet propaganda is a great site to order from, but it takes a while (3 months for me) before you get your shite.

That's more Spetsnaz oriented equipment.

The impression looks good, if not 100% on.
