Can the Tokyo Marui p226 handle green gas or propane?

yes... and both are basically the same stuff...

As mentioned, both. Green gas is propane with silicone oil pre mixed. Propane by itself will slowly wear out seals. All my TM pistols have ran propane for 6 years and have never had an issue.
