Spray paints for painting.
Man I cannot figure out where this goes haha, anyways:
Gonna be painting my AKM digital Urban greyscale, so I was wondering what the best spray paints to use, I need a range from light grey to black. I heard Krylon are really good, but I can't find and flat/matte sprays, they're all glossy or textured. Anyways, tell me what you think! Thanks =] |

Tamiya model paint + clear coat.
Or Duracoat if you can find them and want to pay the price.

Krylon is the way to go with gun painting. Here's is a step by step link: www.optactical.com/weaponpainting.html
We've been using krylon for years after it was suggested by the military. The paint jobs you can get from it can last years.

Sweet, but like I said, my problem is finding the "ultra flat" sprays, all the ones I see are gloss. Is there some kind of protective matte spray I could use so it's not glossy?

Ever been to a paint isle in your favorite hardware store?
Or better, craft store? All the answers are there! Just know what you need and they will show it to you.

You can mix 2 colors in very thin dusty coats and get a new color.
That's how I do coyote brown: tan + brown. You can do it with other colors too. Just buy what is close to what you want, and apply in thin layers. If you got an airbrush, mix your own.

For flat Krylon gray you can just use primer.
