Backpack for Vest.
Where can I find the backpack shown (what type of backpack or pouch is it too?) on the vest in the 7th and 8th image on the product page below?

That's not a backpack. That's a hydration pouch carrier.

oh haha opps, is it normal for people to just use it as a normal carrying item to carry empty mags and/or other stuff instead of hydration packs?

Are you able to reach your arm that far down your back?
If you can, I'm going to rename you as "Gumby" So no, it's not normal. However, it IS normal to use regular magazine pouches to carry magazines on your back so that when stacked up, your team mates behind you can access fresh magazines off your back. If you want to place empty mags somewhere, do a search for "dump pouch" |

I use the Condor Hydration Carrier II Since it has molle system, I attach it directly on the back of my vest
http://www.condoroutdoor.com/hcb2_hy..._carrier2.aspx ![]() ![]() ![]() Even with my 100 Oz Blackhawk Torrent Extreme II in it there is still room in the large pocket. I use the 2 small pochets for stull like BBs, Batteries, Ration...

Look into an MBSS pack by Pantac. It's got shoulder straps and molle to attach to a vest.

remember, any storage compartment you can't reach means one of 2 things:
1) you will have to get a team mate to get it for you 2) you'll have to take your vest off consider alternative placement of your gear before you buy a hydration pouch or the ones project18 or shelledpants recommend. If it's purely for storage then you'll be fine. if it's for on the field gaming supplies, I'd reconsider. the only things I mount on the back of my vest are: -hydration carrier -scabbard -radio (but I often have to ask someone to key in the channel when there's a change) |

I've had a Spec Ops Gear T.H.E. pack for about 5 years, and it's absolutely bombproof. Limited lifetime warranty on workmanship and materials, too. It cost me a few bucks, but I love it. The best part? It's lined with a yellow liner so you can stick your head inside with a red LED torch and see EVERYTHING.

I wanted to use it to carry my empty mags but I saw someone posted something about dump pouches, so which would fit a P90 mag?

a backpack is not a typical dump pouch. the mags will rattle more and more the more you dump in.
there are many different types but here's a pretty standard style: http://ascmart.ca/product_info.php?c...products_id=15 ![]() Last edited by coach; October 28th, 2009 at 21:24.. |
