I've bought lots of replicas in the past so I didn't care if they didn't function properly. now I'm moving on to the real deal so I'd like to make sure what I'm getting is quality but also not to over pay.
I'm browsing Amazon and came across this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...&condition=all the first listing advertises the Streamlight TLR-2 HL G as new in condition, for under $200 USD. I'm not familiar with Amazon so I don't know where to look. I've heard that some sellers still have the "Just Launched" info in their profile even if they've been doing business for a few years. when comparing that listing to every other one, you can see that it's over $100 cheaper. another thing to look for if it's counterfeit is that it ships from Asia, but in this case it's from New Hampshire. edit: for clarification without bumping, I usually ship accessories to my US address so I don't have to pay excessive shipping. $10 vs $30

Just Launched (Seller Profile) Brand new account with no feedback yet. You can try if you like, Amazon has great buyer protection in place but everything screams scam to me.

Ive been seeing alot of accounts like that pop up on amazon lately, often with the same inventory of electronics ranging from TV's to high end optics, night vision and thermal devices. Everything heavily discounted from the normal retail prices they should be.
The whole account seems to disapear within a few hours though. I haven't bought anything from those accounts but it all points to scammers. |

Fake seller. Anything on Amazon that's from a new seller is usually a scam. Anything on Amazon that's new and has a great feedback; read the reviews for "sponsored reviews" e.g. we send you garbage but it's free so you MUST give us good feedback."
Stay away. |

also keep in mind that is the .com site and not the .ca so plan to pay duties and extra shipping fees.

They just want your info.
Amazon wont give them CC data, but they will get your name and address, etc.. |

lot of fake stuff floating around amazon marketplace, I no longer buy brand name items from marketplace vendors. If it's fullfilled or sold/shipped by amazon themselves, it's likely trustworthy. If it's a marketplace seller, it's an office in california and dropped shipped garbage from china.
