What's this part called?
I just received an LCT Ak missing this part. I have no idea what it's called so it's difficult to source a replacement.
It's the black clip thing that covers the gears in the gearbox behind the trigger.

It should work just fine without it...
Ev*ke call it "AK Cover for Gear #3". Probably not the most common way to call it, but the only one I know.

Oh yeah it will work. But any bit of debris could get into the gearbox. Not likely but a pebble could ruin it. Thanks for the lead.

would be nice to be able to buy spares indeed... hint hint our our parts vendors. :P
btw, I call it that stupid piece of the gearbox I forget to pull off when I open it.
