Question about greasing gbbrs
Whats the best grease or oil to get? I was told by a gun doctor that synthic grease would be the best thing is I'm not to sure if it was grease or oil. Sorry for making a mess on the forums. Going to unltimate airsoft and my buddy needs his scar l lubed up for today. I'm on my phone so the search function

"Silicone Brake Grease" like Superlube. Napa or other car parts supply spots will have some.

For metal-metal friction, apply synthetic grease on your parts (Ultra Slick is the brand, can be found @ CT)
Everything else that is rubber (O-Rings,Mags, ect.) needs lightweight silicone oil. I personnaly used the one from AI bought on AirsoftParts on both my GBBR and pistol. Also, as for grease, a thin coat is more than enough. I put grease on the bolt carrier, the inside of the upper, the charging handle and a little bit in the buffer tube with my finger. Hope this helps out.
