the fourm
i was wondering if the fourm has had or ever will have a free stuff section just for ppl looking to unload some unwanted items ?

I think it's actually a rule that you have a have a price listed for any items in the classifieds, just to make sure people don't do a "make an offer" kind of thing.

I'm sure listing free as a price would be fine. The price rule is to stop auctions.

what are you smoking?!?! ... why aren't you sharing with the rest of the class? in all seriousness . it does happen, but it's generally local stuff ... or usually in the classifieds it's gimme $XX for all this crap I don't want/need to cover shipping etc...

Rule clarification: "FREE" does indeed count as a price.
What would NOT be allowed is something like: " I just want to get rid of it, so whoever makes the best offer... " since then it becomes bidding.
