Reading this thread got me curious in our copyright laws in the US. Since i'm not having to chase any mental patients tonight (not yet at least) I figured i'd read up on ours. In the US as long as it's not being distributed by sale or trade, it's not violating the copyright law. Now looking at Canada's Copyright law it states: It is not an infringement of copyright for any person to reproduce, in a painting, drawing, engraving, photograph or cinematographic work. Maybe this can clear some things up.
