For those still interested.
I bought a TM G18c, and as a stock gun it feels very plasticky.
Some highly recommended upgrades
- Guarder Reinforced G17 frame (fits g18c perfectly, and has a very nice feel)
- PGC Aluminum Slide kits (very hassle free install, no modifications needed and relatively light)
- Enhanced Hammer Spring (the stock one I had could not knock out enough gas from a fully filled 50 round magazine).
- Steel rear sights (the auto selector/mechanism of the G18C is sandwiched between the slide by a screw and the rear sight. This part actually takes a bit of stress as well, and metal threads > plastic threads in durability).
