What do you mean by "put the receivers down?" Did you shave the top of the bolt catch? the slant/angle where the bolt catch rides isn't the same compared to stock.

I got one back in June I think (with the new nozzle). Cycling wasn't terrible but there was a ton a friction when locking it back with the charging handle. Definitely not anywhere close to as smooth as with the stock one.

There was no new formal release in regards to versions, I just noticed the difference over experience installing it for people. Yeah, the bolt still works, but just not smoothly, which is why modding it is important.
