The body itself should be fine. It's that damn selector disc. That thing caused me no end of gried on my C8 until I found out what was wrong...
As for mags, make sure ALL your mags fit. In my C8 body, high caps fit perfectly, as did my G&P Thermold mags (yeah, I know now that they suck). But any other standard metal mags wouldn't fit at all, even with force. So just in case, you may want to try other mags to ensure fit before you get the whole gun together then have to take it apart again to sand the magwell. It may be fine though.
