Your G36 should be fine for as long as the integrated sling mount on the body holds up. I used to have a G36 and if I recall correctly, the sling mount is plastic and molded into the body.
The sling clasp is on a swivel head so it shouldn't put too much stress on that point as it will spin freely as needed. Also, considering the weight of the G36 I think you'll be in good shape.
