Thanks Flyguy. That looks very much like it. The one at the link you provided seems to be it. Mine is missing that little leather centre piece inside and I used some para cord to bring that parts together. But otherwise, that seems to be the one.

Well, that's good enough for me. I was curious about the origins of this helmet, and now I know at least something. And seems like for $25, I got a damn good deal on it.
