Taking a look at the UNCompany website it appears there is an "upgraded gearbox" (manufactured by PGC which has been discontinued) for the TOP 249 and it comes in V2 and V3 versions so I don't know... You'd probably have to take it to a gundoc to tell you what it is. Otherwise take it apart and see if you can tell what it is.

I'll see what else I can dig up.

EDIT: WGC appears to sell only the PGC V3 gearbox for the TOP 249. There is also a Guarder Gearbox but it looks like it's only the shell (Doesn't look like a V2 though)... It also looks like other 249's use V3 also (STAR appears to use V3 gearbox for it's 249).
