It's quite easily, I just change mine to Guarder as well.

Just remove the slide, look through it then you will see your mag catch hold tension by a piece of steel needle, just use your screwdriver to push that needle up then your mag catch will come out out by itself.

If you buy a new mag catch, you might need to sand down that steel needle a little it since the steel mag catch doesn't have deep hole like the plastic one.
