Dial in hop up. Most new guns are shipped with the hop up set full off, therefore the BB has nothing to rest against to hold it in the barrel. So dial in hop up and the "problem" should be fixed.
And it's a spring gun, no idea what gas valve you are talking about. And if it's a bone stock APS2 then it has a fixed hop up. APS2/CA M24 mags are the same (I bring up because when the feed lips get chewed up, double feeding occurs), sounds like maybe you might be double feeding the gun when loading actually, each time the bolt gets pulled back, even an inch, and released, it loads a BB. Learn to pull the bolt back FULLY and shove forward once. Overall problem could just be a "User" issue and not a gun issue.
