Batteries in the cold...

Yesterday I played a game in a cold place. It was between 0 and -4 or so.

My 8.4V NiMh 1400 maH stick-type batteries gave up after 100 rnds each.

The ROF was very slow and all of sudden no more power.

What type of batteries are better in the cold? Is it a question of NiCa vs NiMh, quality of the battery (my batts are of basic quality), etc...

Thanks. I want to know what I need to survive the next games with my gun fully functionnal!
