I have a Modify 110 spring that I'm trying to pull with a 9.6v crane stock battery. I can hear the motor try to engage the gears, but nothing happens...just a low click.

There is a systema high speed gearset installed. Also, I recently replaced the motor connector tabs with ones I bought at an auto parts store (not gold plated), and there is another set of the same connectors connecting the battery.

So I guess what I'm asking is, should I be able to pull that spring with a high speed gearset and a 9.6v? Or is this an electrical problem? I'm confident the gearbox isn't over shimmed.

I should also mention that there is some heavy wear on the motors' gear (forget what that little one is called). Although I don't think that's what's causing the problem as there's still plenty of tooth left to bite.
