I think though the SIG has bigger gas capacity overall, which hurts it less on rapid unloading and power consistency. In Japan I think running on duster it probably affects 1911 less in those area, but running on propane 1911 is not very economical on gas at all...1911 doesn't do that well with a suppressor, at least for me with a Socom type. Maybe a smaller, lighter one will do better but I can't get the gun to cycle properly using a Socom-style suppressor....having shot the 1911 style gun(including Hi-Capa) for a while I find it hard to get used to the DA-style trigger of Sig or USP or anything like that. They just seem to have so much more slack in the trigger...
