It does look like it will fit, and it says that it will fit a standard birdcage flash-hider. The scar does have a birdcage flash-hider but im not sure if its standard, there are some slight differences. But from what i can see it should fit. You can do whatever you wish, but trust me getting the barrel out is very simple, and once its out all you need is a little elbow grease and you're set. But if you're planning on getting the QD anyway, then you can save yourself the effort and just leave it.

However, i'm not positive but I think silencers are on the list of items that are restricted from coming through customs, you may want to check that.

*Edit- Just checked and in the FAQ's and it does indeed state that you cannot import suppressors.
