it has gold ink writing surrounding a circular logo on the inside leather, it looks Russian, but I cant make out the individual letters.
Not much help I know!
I got them from the Ukraine and checking around a few stores in the US and the UK for that type with the buckle are marked as "Ukrainian army boots" or "Russian army boots". I think the later description could be the correct one!
Will have to get russian lace ups from somewhere....
