What are YOU smoking? The thread still exists, they just closed it. Everything that needed to be said was said. Mopic can now read that thread and go "Oh shit, no one likes my communications", and hopefully he'll take that into account. The mods didn't want it to turn into some stupid rank posting crapfest.
