So from what I hear, helical gears are the way to go to tone down gear noise. I would assume that the slower the gear set is, the less noise it would make, so chances are, torque-up gears would be quieter than high speed. At least, their sound would be of a lower frequency and less piercing.

Make sense
I can tell (by having it installed on 2 AEGs) that tirador sorbo kit significanly reduce sound signature when shooting. It also improve mechbox life by absorbing some of the impact when the piston head hit the cylinder head
