I got one of these mechboxes for my C8, and it has given me nothing but grief. I installed it, fired a few shots, and the thing locked solid. I thought perhaps it was the spring, so I installed a Prometheus MS110SP spring. From that point on, I had no more jamming issues. However, that's where the other problems started.
I install the mechbox, and it works fine for a bit.. Then I'm unable to fire in auto anymore. Regardless of where the selector is set (except safe), it fires in semi only. It wil do that for a bunch of shots, then the trigger will sort of 'block' and it won't fire anymore. I can depress the trigger past the 'blocking' part, but still no action. Removing the motor from the grip and reconnecting it confirms that no power is going to the motor.
I've tried everything. I've replaced the trigger, cutoff lever and selector plate, and still get the same results. I'm at a loss.
While the mechbox shell itself seems nice and solid, as do the gears and other internals, I just can't get the damn thing to work right.
