Actually it doesn't. If you have ever seen any JG internals and you have ever seen any of the modify or deep fire parts, it would be quite obvious. Though they are both made in China they are made to very largely different standards. A JG mechbox can be had for less than $100, building a mechbox from scratch from modify or deep fire parts would run far more than that, maybe around $200. Plus you get far better shimming, double check that parts line up properly, and much higher quality grease (all because you do it yourself.)

Just think about it for a second.....

-Metal bearing spring guide instead of cheap cast solid metal spring giude
-Polycarb piston with multiple metal teeth instead of nylon
-Chrome plated low friction piston instead of brass (sometimes with flash from the manufacturing process)
you can say the same for any part of the mechbox, plus the shell itself in JG guns often have casting problems and small air bubbles, never seen that with any modify or deep fire shells.

Not just airsoft, but anything really, just because its made in China doesn't mean its the same. My $450 WACOM tablet is made in China, does that mean its the same quality as the crap $50 tablet I can buy in China town?

I also have experience with JG mechboxes, they have the highest failure rate of any mechbox I know of. Yes the failure rate is still quite low, it is still a lot higher than SystemA, TM, CA, G&P, etc.
