I've had a SERPAs for a couple years now, and some local guys have been using them longer than that. Besides, for airsoft, there are a thousand bozos who could do a thousand things to cause an AD, the last thing you need to worry about is the holster.  |
I think the AD was more human error than anything else. I've used SERPA before, and if you have poor finger index on your drawstroke, then you're likely to shoot yourself in the femoral. With practice though, SERPA functions fine.
I'm not saying SERPA is crap, I just don't buy into the 'SERPA is teh bestest' hype either. It's a nice holster, in most environments, but I prefer Bladetech.
