I really struggle - though I have managed to loose a bit of weight since I started airsoft, so all that running about seems to be doing me good (I work in an office in front of a computer all day)...But even so, I am a long way from fitting the svelte Russian belt sizes so cheat and use a US pistol belt.
What I have discovered that I find useful is
belt extenders - they are quite common and add a few inches to the normal duty belt...
